About the Event:

Have you received signs from loved ones on the other side? Maybe you've had predictive dreams, or just know something but aren't sure how you know it? Perhaps you sense spirits nearby? Maybe your experiences suddenly began (after the passing of a loved one, for instance). Or maybe you've been having them for some time, and are now curious about what they may mean.  Join Dr. Lenore Matthew — Doctor of Social Work and expert on intuitive and psychic awakenings as well as trauma, grief, and evidence-based practice design — for this interactive, half-day workshop. Dr. Matthew's own intuitive and psychic abilities suddenly awoke when her late husband unexpectedly passed away.  The workshop will help you understand your psychic, intuitive, and supernatural experiences (or those you wonder if you've had!). All are welcome, even if you're unsure of what you've experienced.  Through a mix of research-based discussion and interactive exercises, this workshop will help you understand your experiences and what they might mean for you. More than anything, this workshop will help normalize your experiences and give you a framework to trust that you are not "crazy," nor are you imagining them. You will also connect to others with similar experiences, helping build community and assure you that you are not alone.

The workshop will cover the following topics:

1) What Are You Experiencing, and Why Is It Happening?: A Framework to Understand Your Experiences

2) How Do We Know the Experiences Are Real?: What the Research Says About Psychic Awakenings

3) What Do You Do With Your Experiences? Where Do You Go From Here?: Your Plan Forward

Each segment will include an interactive exercise and detailed discussion based on Dr. Matthew's research of intuitive/psychic awakenings and other empirical research in the field.

About Dr. Lenore:

Lenore is a Dr. of Social Work and an expert in grief, trauma, and intuitive awakenings, as well as research and evidence-based practice. She is also a trained evidential medium and a young widow. Her intuitive abilities opened up when her late husband suddenly passed away. Today she helps people move through grief and find their light and joy by tuning into their intuitive abilities (we all have them!) and connecting to their loved ones in Spirit. She also conducts original research on psychic awakenings, focusing on the context of loss.
